This Spicy BBQ Oil is a blend of extra virgin cold-pressed rapeseed oil, infused with chilli, smoke and charcoal. The oil is designed to withstand extremely high temperatures so perfect for cooking barbecue food.
When researching what type of oil would work the best for cooking barbecue food, we discovered that Cotswold rapeseed oil was by far the winning option. The oil can withstand high temperatures and this is what allows the oil to work well for cooking on the BBQ. The oil is smoked for 18 hours in small batches over beechwood and has a distinctive flavour that adds depth to food. This oil is part of our wider British BBQ Range.
